highly detailed skull on book with laurel leaves, skull opens to reveal inkwell with original pottery insert. The skull is attached to a polychrome decorated book with the following impressed on the spine, a flower, FB, urn w/B inside, geshutz. underneath is impressed urn w/B gesgeshutz, #3070 and #30. There are some losses to the white paint, otherwise very fine condition. Figural inkwells are getting harder to find every year. |
