A fine hand engraved set of 10 spoons, each stamped with the touchmarkshowing the ''tugra'' of Sultan Mahmoud II who ruled 1809-39, and indicating the .900 silver content, also a small touchmark with arabic character in each bowl. all are in very fine condition. Ottoman empire silver is very uncommon. |
