1) Check item for colorfastness 2) Wash item in non phosphate soap* in basin or washer with cold water. 3) Rinse thoroughly. 4) Soak in Vintage TextileSoak™* according to package directions. 5) Rinse thoroughly. 6) Dry item by lying on towels. NEVER use the clothes dryer! 7) Iron. Starch too if preferred. 8) Keep item(s) out of direct sunlight when displayed or stored. 9) If item(s) is (are) stored, use acid-free tissue paper* and acid-free boxes* or store in new pillow cases.
