Offering this most unusual vintage leather Italian Leather Garment bag that can be used full length or folds over as a suitcase or gladstone type bag. In half it measures 18 x 24 inches. And open about 36 x 24 inches. It has great snaps that wrap around the handles to hold it secure in the luggage shape. There is a small piece of leather missing from that wrap, see photo. The leather has great patina and is in excellent condition. Of course there is leather crazing becuase this bag has been used and loved for over 50 or 60 years. It may be older than that. Inside lining is excellent and the bag comes with two hangers, it also has a hanger that is exposed to the outside for hanging. Heavy zipper. On the tongue wrap it reads Made in Italy Maus E. Hoffman, an exclusive mens store in Florida. Inside the bag we found business cards from Alfred Statler photography, a photographer in NY. This bag is luxurious and beautifully made.

For slae is this wonderful Orrery by the Trippensee Planetarium company in Saginaw Michigan. This was a teaching aid and dates from the 1940's or so. It is not electrified in any way, as the new ones. It stands about 14 1/2 inches tall and is about 20 inches long. I have had to replace the venus to earth (small black and white ball) and also part of the base, the plastic part was cracked. It has a small yellow tag on the arm that reads MISCO (Michigan Scientific Company) Ann Arbor Mi. There is also a small compass in the arm. On the base is a metal plate with seasons etc, it is worn.

Offering this celluoid cupie doll from a carnival give a way. This one is really quite complete except for the feathers. She still has the hat, necklace and earrings and cane. She measures 8 inches tall.
