Offering this large treen bucket. May have been used for dry goods of some type. The shape and size are just great. This piece still has the original grundgy surface with traces of paint. Damage to the bucket is evidenced in the photos. It measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter and 10 inches tall. It is a great piece.

Offering this very nice old cancle box. It has the original red paint, dovetailed corners, champford (??) bottom and top. Slide lid has a great lip added for pulling the box open. It measures10 3/4 x 5 x 5 1/2. Very good condition.

Offering for your interest this wonderful piece of early lighting. It is an early post lamp. The strap wraps around a beam or post for secure position. All of tin. Great original patina. There are some flaws in this early piece. Please note the small piece of tin out of the top rim. Also the back post strap on the left is weakened, you can see the seam. It is a double light, filler on the side. It measures 7 inches high, 7 1/2 inches wide. 4 inches deep to the back, not including the strap. The strap, as set is 6 inches in diameter. Modest reserve.

This funnel is fabulous , made of wood. I guess it is called treen. Great color. There is a small ding on the edge, see photo. It measures 8 inches tall and the diameter of the funnel opening is 5 1/2 inches. Great form, great color, great condition. Couldn't ask for more.My guess would be circa 1860 or so. I am not sure about that but it is early. thanks for looking.

For sale is this nice red painted sugar bucket or storage container with lid. It is treenware. The piece has its original red paint. It stands 12 inches tall and about 9 inches in diameter. There is a crack in the lid and a chip, I have pictured them. There are also several cracks in the body, one is continuous down one side, across the bottom and up the other side. Possibly repaired there. The lid fits slightly different depending on how you rotate it.

For sale is this nice small sized wallpaper box. The box is oval in shape and measures 12 x 7 x 9. The paper on the lid and sides matches. There is some water markings on the lid. This box has some supporting stitching on the lid and base. The box has a great lid and would look good in a stack.

For sale is this unusual and lovely tool. I was told it is French and was used to replace corks in wine bottles. It comes apart at the center and there is a plunger type devise. The bottom part is tapered just like a cork. You place the cork in the bottom, place the top on. Place the entire device over the top of the bottle and push down. It looks like it should work. The wood has a marvelous patina. It looks like there may have been a lock or some catch to hold the top to the bottom, it is missing. This is a wonderful piece of wood. The overall height is about 8 inches.

Offering this stunning candle box. It is old putty paint over red. The wood is pine and hand hewn star in the center of the box. The star is cut out of the wood, not applied to the wood. The construcion of the box is square nail and the drawer is early dovetailed. The overall size is 23 x 9 x 5 1/4. This box is outstanding, the only thing done to it was a cleaning to get the dirt off.

For sale is this wonderful, country spoon rack or spoon holder. It is excellent in condition and form. It measures 22 inches long and 18 inches tall. It holds about 28 spoons. There are a couple of detail pieces of wood that have broken off during the years but the overall look is wonderful.
