| Offering this, over the top, hand painted powder jar from the late 1940's or 1950's. This jar is exquisite, hand painted with butterflies, a bird, ladybug and flowers. Has the original brown cord and tag that reads I. Magnin Co, Exclusive Creations. Tag on the bottom of the jar reads Andre Cire Creations, Hollowood California. The powder puff reads, I. Magnin Co. Original. Appears to be unopened. Measures 6 inches tall and 5 1/4 oinches in diameter. The base is gold and the top has a silver type paper on the inside and the bird, flowers, butterfly etc. are painted on the top. I have 16 other pieces that came from the same collection. Take a look at all of them , they are outstanding. |
