~Flirty 1940s Black Tulle Bow Head Band Hat~ This piece is so much fun. It is listed here with the hats, but it is actually a head adornment from the 1940s. Shall we call it a head band? At any rate, it is crafted of black velvet covered band, and trimmed in black tulle bows. It is very flirty, don't you think? This is the perfect item for accenting your 1940s outfits, costumes, etc. It is very elegant and will go nicely with many different hairstyles. I love it! Perfect condition...very clean. Ready to wear.

Slate Blue Quilted Red Cross Peep Toe Slingback Shoes 8 These amazing shoes were made by Red Cross back in the 1940s. They are done in a super cute sling back style with a double strapped buckle at the sides & quilted peep toes. The heel is nice and substantial. These are extremely comfortable and well-balanced shoes! They're in excellent, CLEAN condition, too. Color is slate blue/grey. Size is noted as an 8 narrow. They measure 9 & 7/8 inches long inside, and 3 inches across the ball. Heel height is 3 inches. There are no flaws, and leather is supple/uncracked. :O) Don't miss out on these vintage beauties!

~Gorgeous Folkloric Woven Cotton 1940s Belt~ This belt is amazing! It was woven on a loom in red and white cotton yarns~and is backed in red wool felt. The fastening mechanism consists of three heavy duty snaps hidden inside the front where it overlaps. This belt will fit a size 26 inch waistline perfectly. It is 2 inches wide and in wonderful condition. It was purchased at an estate sale with many other items all dating to the 1940s-50s. You will love wearing this belt~it goes especially nice with black, or red...or white, of course. :O) Dress up one of your plainer dresses with this one...You'll be delighted, I am sure.

~Amazing '40s Vintage Floral Silk Ribbon Belt Must See~ This belt is sooooo wonderful. It was purchased at a recent estate sale along with an entire wardrobe dating from the 1940s-50s. It is made of a wonderful floral jaquard ribbon in silk. It is fully backed-lined in a heavy grossgrain ribbon for strength, and features a standard type buckle-that is covered with the ribbon fabric. It measures one and one fourth inches wide and will fit a waistline of 26 to 27 inches. Condition is wonderful. There is just a touch of discoloration inside the belt's liner. I think it could be washed, but at any rate, you wouldn't be able to see it when worn, anyway. This would really dress up one of your plainer gowns~and make it feel special. You must own this lovely belt...They just don't make things like this anymore. :O)

~Lovely Blue 1940s Vintage Hat with Netted Veil~ Here is another wonderful hat that dates from the 1940s which we were able to purchase at a recent estate sale. This one is blue with a sweet matching velvet bow on each side, and an overnet in find silk netting. It is in absolutely wonderful (perfect)condition and fits a size 22-23 inch head comfortably.

It is completely encrusted with vintage hand sewn beadwork~which consists of all kinds of gorgeous vintage beads~all glass with sweet ivory appliques in cotton lace in the form of feminine "bows" motif. There is a fine matching veil, also for a touch of "mystery". Oh, how gorgeous this is! Perfect for an old fashioned wedding, as it would make a perfect "headdress" for that occasion. Condition is perfect-there are no flaws. Hat is clean and extremely well preserved. No damage to lace, netting, or beadwork...Hat is made by Coralie and is a size 22 but it will also fit a 23 inch head~because of the nature of hat's style and cut. This is simply a dream of a hat...

~Adorable Pristine 1940s Blue Velvet Bow & Net Hat~ What a ladylike and lovely piece this is! The hat is made with a graceful blue velvet bow that crowns your head and comes down the sides for a perfect fit, and is netted for a sligtly mysterious aura! This is one of the prettiest hats I've offered yet and it came from the estate of a Nashville socialite who really *cared* for her hats. They are all in perfect, and very clean condition! If you love hats...please browse the store as I have many items listed as well as many of these hats from the Nashville estate. This will fit up to a size 23 inch head comfortably and is in perfect, sparkling clean condition. It is even lovlier than the pictures can convey.
