Fenton Topaz Opalescent Fairy Light Honor Collection 04 Fenton Topaz Opalescent Fairy Light Honor Collection 2004.

Fenton Art Glass Honor Collection for 2004 was a tribute to Fenton chemist Paul Rosenthal. Following in the footsteps of his father, (Jacob Rosenthal, Fenton's first factory manager and chemist). Paul developed many distinctive transparent and opaque Fenton glass colors in a career that ended with his retirement in 1949.

Topaz Opalescent combines two rare glassmaking elements, depleted uranium and bone ash. To create a vivid yellow with soft vanilla accents. Frances Burton's floral motif, Autumn Beauty, complements the brilliance of this remarkable and popular glass color.

Fenton Art Glass Ruby Amberina Stretch Glass Basket Fenton Art Glass Ruby Amberina Stretch Glass Basket 2003. 4633RL was Fentons item number for this item. This stunning piece is undecorated, letting the beauty of the color take center stage. To create the magical stretch effect, the piece is sprayed with a mixture of metallic salts before being reheated and brought to its final shape. This type of finishing often creates a myriad of striations and even a somewhat rough texture in the iridescent finish, especially around the edges of the piece. This piece is in mint condition. This item has a lovely grape, grapevine, leaf, pattern.
