Meriden Silver Plate Co. Coffee pot. Beautiful detail, beautiful enamel lining. Motifs around the center of butterflies, hummingbirds, dragonflies and flowers. Motifs around the center top in blocks,alternating flowers and insects and animals such as, squirrel, pelican, owl, fly and grasshopper. Motifs around the center bottom in blocks, alternating flowers and inscects and animals such as, frog, crab, turtle, lobster, porkypine and bat. Height from base of pot to top of handle. 10 1/2 inch height from base of pot to top of pot before lid 8 inch. Pot base diameter 5 1/2 inch and spout to handle edge 9 3/4 inch. The bottom is marked Meriden Silver Plate Co. Quadriple Plate 472. This item has silver ware and is need of polishing. The inside is enamel lined. The enamel is nice and white, stain free inside, but there is a crack that goes around the bottom of the inner base rim of porcelain liner. Simply a beautiful item done in the works by Meriden.

No enamelware chips or flaking. There are some slight use scratches. The small pot that fits inside, has two handles There is an enamelware chip on the inside rim area and on the outside where it sits near rim. Has use wear and scratches as seen. The large pan has an enamelware crack on inside bottom, but no enamelware chips. Some use scratches. In over all very, very good condition.
