Jerry Elsner Teddy Bear with jointed arms and legs. Original tag on bear. This bear has the glass eyes. I believe this bear is an early Jerry Elsner bear. In very good played with condition. He has a minor scuff on one foot. Not sure in picture shows. Height 11 inch. A must have for your collection, cute as can be.

Vintage Teddy Bear hand made needs cleaning restoration
Vintage Teddy Bear. This bear appears to be hand made. It has been well loved. It feels like it is stuffed with the old rag stuffing. Cloth clothing is part of the body. Eyes nose and mouth are hand embroidered on with a yarn type material. No holes, tears, snags or stains, just yellowing from age. If this bear was taken apart and cleaned, it will be as good as new. A must have unique Teddy Bear.

Side two, All new materials contents cotton, Gund MFG Inc., J Swedlin Ind. 360 Suydam St. Brooklyn 37, NY. Very clean just slight, normal, dust soiling. Appears to be original yellow bow. A must have.

Russ 100th Anniversary Bear Brianna tagged.
Her ear tag states: "In 1902 the first "Teddy Bear" was created in honor of President Theodore Roosevelt. The public's love of teddy bears has grown over the years.....and nowhere is this more evident than here at Russ. Her tag also states: "To Commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the teddy bear, Russ has created a special anniversary collection. All are handcrafted using only the finest materials and with the same attention to detail that you've come to expect from Russ."
The back of the tag gives the care instructions which includes 'machine washable, non-toxic, non-allergenic'. There is also a tag attached to her leg.
This it truly a special 'Teddy Bear'!
