Oriental Sterling hand painted on Shell clip earring Here is a lovely single clip on earring. A fantastic oriental hand painted on shell set in Sterling. Marked Sterling. It is possible this item may be missing two pins. Or, it is the way the shell is cut. There are two pins that hold the shell on at the top, and if you look, perhaps you can see two areas at the bottom where pins may go, or it just may be the way the shell is cut. Still very secure. Over all size 1 inch. Could be made into a pin or necklace. Simply a lovely rare estate find.
