Aunt Jemima Uncle Moses Wade Diana Oil Cloth Dolls Aunt Jemima Uncle Moses Wade Diana Oil Cloth Dolls. Fantastic set all together. These were mail in premium kits. Oil cloth kits that you cut out, sew and stuffed. Having been made from oil cloth material, this set is in very good condition. Most often times this material tore, melted and mildewed. Condition, Uncle Moses has a small section in the seam near his foot that has come loose, needs a seam repair. His colors are bright and in very good condition, Aunt Jemima is in excellent condition no tears or seam repairs needed, Wade is in excellent condition no fading, tears or no seam repairs needed, Diana her colors are fantastic. She does need a seam repair near her feet. It is hard to find this set together in such great shape. This is a must have. Price shown is for the set of four.

Black African American Shelf Sitter Doll Hand Made Black African American Shelf Sitter Doll Hand Made. Circa 1980s. She is adorable with her cloth pixie hair, rag ribbon in her hair. She has embroidered eyes, nose and mouth. Her dress has lovely lace trim around the collar with a white pearl button. She has black bloomers with lace trim, red and cream painted wooden shoes with a pearl button on each shoe. Lovely linen skirt with lace trim. Her bottom is made of a type of wood to make her sit straight. A must have for your decor, and would make a fantastic gift.

The Spirit of 76 engraving black african american horse The Spirit of 76. Engraved for Godey's Magazine. One would think this is circa 1876. Signed in pencil on back side, Godey Sept 1865.
BACKGROUND INFO
This is an authentic steel or copper engraving on a heavier grade of paper stock. The verso, reverse side, signed in pencil, Godey Sept 1865. This was once a page in a volume.

The image shows a young white woman offering a live duck to a barefoot black man on horseback.
In whole, this item measures 6 1/2 x 10 inch.

The image itself measures 4 7/8 x 7 inch.

The paper is tanned with age and has surface soil. There is foxing,little brown age spots at the top left corner and bottom left corner.

Circa: 1865 to 1876
