1924 THE PAL THAT I LOVED STOLE GAL I LOVED SHEET MUSIC 1924 The Pal that I Loved Stole the Gal That I Loved, Sheet Music. LARGE FORMAT - This is music published mostly before 1920 (although some examples of later dates exist) and is approximately 10" x 13" with about 1/2" leeway in any direction. STANDARD - This size was phased in beginning around 1918 (although earlier examples exist) and is approximately 9" x 12" with some small leeway in any direction. After about 1960, 8" x 10" sizes became quite common. WAR EDITION (small folio) - This size was originally produced during the WWI years to conserve paper. The sheets measure between 6" and 8" side and 8" to 10" high. Sizes varied by publisher. Some later examples of this size exist, mostly by small publisher.
