Barterin To Pass by Dan Brewer
The trail boss, upon his mount and the indian in front of him is holding up three fingers. He is wanting three head of cattle in trade for letting them herd their cattle through indian territory.
The research of this drawing was from an old tin type photo taken in the eighteen hundres. This pen and ink drawing took the artist four hundred hous to complete. Not the pistol high on the cowboys hip and the rifle across the pommel of his saddle in case there is any trouble, note also the bull durham tobacco tag hanging from his back pocket. This is what is stated on the certificate to this print/etching. This print is not mounted, however I do have a paper with the specs on how to mount it. I also have only one mount for these pictures. If you would like to ad that to your purchase just let me know ahead of time. I do have several articles on Dan Brewer the artist which I will also enclose with your purchase. The artist is known for his western and wildlife etchings.

There is a certificate of Authenticity on the back of this etching.
Signed by Charles Lantz and numbered 68/200.

Bugle Of The Bull by Dan Brewer
The bull elk in all his majesty seems dwarfed only by the teton mountains in the distance. The elk or the indian name, wapiti, have roamed the west northwestern mountainous ranges for thousand of years. The elk is called brother to the american indian and has provided food, clothing and weapons for him for generations. The elk makes a whistling sound called a bugle to keep his harem of cows close by and to warn off any male competition This pen and ink rendering took the Artist six hundred hours to complete. This is a wonderful cityscape litograph by Pierre aquot. I has vibrant colors. I do not know what city it is. According to the Authentication certificate on the back of the picture, this is an original litho print. Signed by Pierre Jaquot and numbered 58/275 and the original plate was defaced after production. The Collectors Guid LTD, NY with a seal on it.

Farm In Springtime Watercolor by Bernice Landrum
This is a very pretty watercolor. It is done in pinks, blues, lavendar, black, brown colors. It is a picture of a farm house in a meadow or trees. I have researched this watercolor for several months now and can not locate any information on it. The signature looks like Bernice Londrum however when I enter that I get nothing but Bernice Landrum. Hence the price of this item.
