Inscribed inside Little Maude Christmas 1886. 2nd page Pictures and versus. All Platelets are included. I love reading this book over and over again. A beautiful book! Out side binding is intact, wear on the top and bottom corner, pages are lifting on the inside, separating from the binding. The last page is taped to the back cover, I don't think that they realized how to bind the book when it was being put together, with the platelets there is no flexibility, other then to expect separation. The last 2 pages have the most wear, the corners have been rubbed off, there is some spotting on some of the pages. Wow!!! This book is 120 yrs old! For it's age, I think the condition is acceptable. I like to give very detailed booboos on books, as a collector I like to know what I am getting myself into.

Cross Creek Cookery
Cross Creek Cookery by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. 1st edition with drawings of the recipes included. Cloth bound book, no rips on the cloth, the book has "shifted" or is bent, look at the pics. The back cover is starting to separate. Most of the pages are in excellent condition, some grease spots where gramma was cooking and following the recipes. Great addition to any kitchen collecting memorabilia. The book has a name Elenor in pencil. And again in pen "possesion is 9/10s of the law." Elenor Printed in New York Charles Scribners sons 1942. Looks like the ink from the inside cover has soaked through to the 1st 4 pages of the book. I've taken pics of the areas that aren't perfect, still a book that is hard to come by filled with some really great recipes!
