1974 CALENDAR LINEN TOWEL FRUIT BASKET MOTIF Vintage 14 inch wide & 23 inches long 1974 Calendar linen towel has course texture and fruit & flowers in a bowl motif in colors of orange, brown, green, off white,& blue. The border and the 1974 are sage green. The 12 months and numbers are under the brightly colored bowl of fruit and flowers. This towel comes from Holland, and is a calender unlike any other where the dates are actually up and down, rather then across. The months and the days of the week are in a Dutch language and in black print.Sunday and the dates are in yellow print. Each month is bordered with a teal blue color with flowers and leaves outlined in black. The flowers have yellow centers and the petals & leaves have centers of white.Very colorful & would look great framed.Excellent gift for the collector of vintage calenders or unique towels. The last photo is of the back of the towel. There are some pulls from use but still a great piece for a collection.
There are some pulls, but still a sweet item.
