18K Gold Christmas Tree Commemorative In 1981 -the 200th anniversary of the first Canadian Christmas tree, Canada issued a commemorative stamp depicting a tree decorated with ornaments that might have been used by the Von Riedesel family to decorate their tree.
This is a International Postal Collectors League First Day Cover sealed in plastic including an 18k gold Christmas tree stamp 1.25 inches wide X1.5 inches long, a 15 cent stamp 1 inch wide;X 1.5 inches long that says Merry Christmas in english and french 1781. The same info is on the gold stamp.

Colbalt Blue Hand Blown Vase Colbalt blue, trumpet shaped, hand blown, etched footed bud vase is, 6 inches tall. This elegant piece is etched only on one side with a flower on a stem with leaves.
There are little bubbles in glass which is expected from blown glass. The foot is 2 inches wide at the bottom. Where the glass is thicker at the base above the foot the colbalt blue is much deeper color.
This little vase came from an estate. How old it is I have no idea. There are no cracks or chips. It does have some imperfections in the glass like little dents but they are not chips. When I run my fingers over all it is all smooth. No sharpness to it at all.
