This gorgeous footed clear glass vintage Avon collectible pressed clear glass candy/nut/trinket dish with a raised lid is marked on bottom of foot limited edition,A 82.It is all smooth inside container and lid. The outside of the container and lid is all designed beautifully with tiny hobnail designs and within the rows of tiny hobnail designs are four other patterns with small 6 point star designs around. These other 4 patterns have flat horizontal bases & come to a point on top.the patterns within the lines look like the stain glass windows in churches.The nob of the lid is 8 sided and so is the foot. The lid sits inside the rim of the container.
There is no damage or repair,cracks or scratches. In excellent shape. It is 5.5 inches tall, mouth of dish is 4.75 inches wide, foot is 3 inches wide.As for the maker,I think its Avon because of the A on the base. |
