This bowl verberates country. I am not sure who the maker is. After searching through hundreds of bowls,I have found one that is quite similar to Medelta in shape. There is a number 6 impressed into the bottom or it could be the letter G.I lean more towards the number 6 because there is a dot above the number.I can remember mom having this cream color bowl in the 1950's. The mouth of the bowl is 6.

| 5 inches in diameter with the base of 3 inches in diameter. There is a bit of wear on the base.The bowl looks to be made out of the same material that old crocks are made of. It has a crack on one side that goes down to the base but not through the base but still very solid and useable.You can see it on the photo.A great decorative piece to use for small fruit as a center piece on a table like grapes or plums.There is no crazing. |
