International Postal Collectors League First Day Cover featuring a Grenada $2.50 paper stamp 2 inches long X 1.5 inches wide and an 18k gold stamp with same dimensions.
It is stamped FIRST DAY ISSUE, 30 SEP 1980,G.P.O. GRENADA, W.I. The paper stamp has snow white and the seven dwarfs Christmas 1980 printed on it and; also portrays snow white and the dwarfs, as does the gold stamp.

The $2.50 stamp, issued by the Carribean island nation of Grenada on 30 September 1980, is the first release in a multinational omnibus series commemorating Disney's feature-lenghth animated films.
To mark this important philatelic event, Disney Productions has authorized Calhoun's Collectors society to create an 18 karat gold replica of the "Snow White" stamp---a golden tribute to the golden age of animation. There is more information regarding Disney Studios that comes with the stamps. |
