Vintage lil' red enamel pot with lid. CUTE!! Well used in it's time. This pot holds a quart. It is almost 7 inches diameter at the mouth. Lid is 7 inches wide. Base of pot is 6 inches wide. The pot itself is 3.5 inches tall. The outside of the pot and metal handle of the lid is candy apple red in color.

The handles on the pot are mostly black in color with red on part of the handles joined to the pot. The inside of the lid is red. The rim of the mouth of the pot is black enamel and the inside of the pot is white. As you see on the photos there are wear areas on the inside of the pot, on top and bottom of the lid and on the bottom of the pot. The photo of the pot with the lid on doesn't do the pot justice on the color.
The vibrant candy apple red is more true on the other photos.
A cute piece to add to a collection of enamel ware or to use as a rustic touch for decorating a home. This was purchased at an estate sale of an 88 year old woman a few years ago. |
