This vintage red rare Cemar strawberry cookie jar without a lid was found at an estate sale. In the 1940's Cemar was bought by Bauer. The mouth is 4 inches wide, the body is 7 inches tall, 28.5 inches widest circumference of the strawberry, 4.25 inches diameter of the base. On the bottom is imprinted into the base Cemar 768 and above is also a number 15. There is crazing all over the body of the strawberry. There is a very small chip on the lip of the mouth which I tried to show in the photo. This is a beautiful piece in very good shape for the age. No scratches, cracks or chips on the body other then the one I mentioned. A fabulous find.Please ask questions.
