Since 1991,pottery was made with the McCoy mark by companies unrelated to the original company of McCoy.Reproductions and fakes have been made since which are recognized by knowing the size of the true McCoy pieces. This is an absolute amazing piece to add to a McCoy collection or to a vase collection or add to the decor of your homeThere is a lot of crazing inside the vase on the base. The crazing deminishes going up in the interior toward the mouth. On the exterior the crazing is is less noticible. There are as there is in old pieces factory bloopers--a glaze pop on the outside by the tab handle, one on the interior on the base and flee bites on the bottom of the base and a few flee bites on the outside. The bottom has imprinted into the glaze "McCoy Made in U.S.A.". In 1995 the value was $9.00,in 2002 the value was $60-$70.Thanks for shopping at Baba's Attic.
