Here is a finely crocheted 9 inch wide round taupe doilie with small scall-opes decorating the edge rim.The intri-cate fine work on the center pattern and the airiness of the finely crocheted small scallopes work very well together.There are no frays,tears or stains.This is a different kind of doilie to add to a collection.As time goes by,the art of crochet is dropped at the way side.Young people are not interested in this type of craft.Please excuse the camera flash.The photos show a light taupe but it is darker. |
