Walk On Aire - Heel Cushions – Patented Heel Cushions – Knox. Ind. An old pair of heel cushions, never used, and in wonderful original condition, a great advertising piece, made by WalkOnAire Corp. Knox, Ind. U.S. Pats issued or Pending – Walk-On-Aire Trade Mark – 3 ½ inches length, by 2 ½ width, they both still push down as intended.  

Buick Advertising/ Folding Pocket Knife A small single blade advertising folding knife, probably dates from the 1950’s and is advertising for a Buick dealership, celebrating 30 years in service. One side of the knife has: " Norem Buick Co. – Ottawa Ill." And the other side: "L.J. Norem – 30th year" The handle is of a mother of pearl material and it measures 1 ½ inches and the blade is another inch and has: USA stamped on the blade. It also has a ring on the end of the handle. Nice condition, other than minor wear to the letters, mostly the top of the J. on one side and to the top of the: Co., on the other side, as shown in the photo.

 

Buster Brown Child’s Pitcher/ Creamer- Advertising Pitcher or creamer to a child’s tea set. Unmarked, but most likely German. Does have a chip on the rim, that could easily be touched up, if you have any other parts of this great set. "Buster Brown" in written by the picture of him and his dog. Graphics are in great shape, of this rare piece.

Size: 3 ¼ inches to top of spout.

Deforest Tube Tin - Advertising A tube tin, very worn, but you can still read the graphics a bit on the front as: Deforest, Audio- Storage Battery Type- Deforest Radio Co., Jersey City, N.J. Seems to have been covered with a brown paint at some point, so nothing on rear of tin is readable. Still a nice OLD tin.

 

Advertising – Casket Co. Letter Opener An advertising letter opener, from the Lexington Casket & Mfg. Co – Lexington, Kentucky. Material is plastic, size 8-½ inches length. From the four-digit phone numbers- this has some age to it.  

Bottle – Norwegian Cod Liver Oil A bottle with its original label, which reads: Pure Norwegian Cod Liver Oil. It was prepared by the A.H. Williams Company- Wholesale Druggists- Utica, New York .
The bottle is 8 inches in height and has a cork lid. Bottom is stamped: Owens – 8 – 3 – and stamped with the Owens Illinois trademark. Back of bottle has: 3xii Nice condition!
 

Advertising – Motorola Television – Star Line An advertising fly tag, for a Motorola Television, with original string for hanging. Measures:3 ¾ inches width by 6 ½ inches length, and has writing on both sides, stating the features of this product.  

Advertising – A.O. Smith Co. A local advertising item; a magnet advertising for the A.O. Smith – Electrical Products Company – a division of the A.O. Smith Corporation. Measures 2 inches across, is red with white lettering. A.O. Smith formerly had a location in Troy Ohio for many years.  

Frigidaire - General Motors – Ice Scraper- Handy Frost Remover A vintage ice scraper/ frost remover from Frididaire, which was a division of General Motors, in Dayton Ohio, (just south of here) for many years. This division made appliances, and this was an ice scrapper for a refrigerator before the self-frosting appliances. Later on G.M. became mostly known as an automobile manufacturer. 9 inches length, 3 inches width, has the "F" in a crown, plus G.M. in blue and Frididaire all written on this scraper. Has use scratches.  

Whio TV Station- Dayton, Ohio – Local Advertising Rulers WHIO was started on channel 13 on July 11, 1949 and moved to channel 7 in 1952. It is Dayton's first television station to start broadcasting, although WDTN was first to have its license granted. WHIO is the only station in Dayton to never change its affiliation. WHIO has been owned by Cox Enterprises since its inception. WHIO's transmitter is located on Germantown Street in western Dayton, Ohio. Its news department News Center 7 has been in first place in the Nielsen Ratings for many years. Here are two advertising wooden rulers from this great station. One would date to the late 1960’s and is a slide out to 36 inches, with the slogan "Twenty Years Of Responsible Service To The Miami Valley" an the other dates to about 1972 and is a colorful tri fold, also 36 inches.  

TWA – Advertising / Souvenir – Knife & Fork Knife and fork each stamped "TWA" on their handles, for Trans Word Airlines. Fork is also marked: International Silver Co. on rear. Both need polished; fork is 6 inches length, and knife is 6 ½ inches length.  

Advertising – Wooden Nickel – Indian Head / Facing Right Advertising item- a wooden nickel advertising two pharmacy locations in Ohio. Top edge has "Brookville Pharmacy" Bottom has "Lewisburg Pharmacy" and the center has "Good For 5 cents in Trade At Either Store". Other side has the head of a Native American Indian facing the right side and "Wooden Nickel" is written around the top edge. Size: 1-1/2 inches across, all wood with black lettering. Condition: average / used  

Advertising - Chalk Bulldog - Mack Truck Bank A chalkware bulldog bank, advertising Mack Trucks, and that is written on the back of his studded collar. Has a coin slot in the back of his head, but no opening to retrieve coins, one would have to shake them out. He stands 7-1/2 inches in height, measures about 10 inches in length from his nose to his tail. The tips on the studded collar, as well as the name "Mack" on the collar is a reflective type of paint, and his eyes look like glass, but under magnification are a hard plastic. He has a number of paint chips, where the white plaster underneath shows through, one could touch up easily if desired. Under one paw is either a chip or a manufacturing defect, and I believe the ladder as the plaster is there, just down a bit, so not smooth. Still he is very cute! Colors are browns topped by black for an antiqued effect.  

Advertising – Bottle Opener – T.C. Esser Co. Bottle opener on one side, and an edge to pry at the other. Center is marked: T.C. Esser & Co. on one side and the other side has: Paints & Glass / Vaughan Chicago. This advertising item is 4-7/8 inches length and in average / used condition. The Vaughn Chicago can only read under magnification.  

DHL - Diecast/ Die Cast - Airplane / Stand A diecast airplane advertising the freight carrier: DHL. This measures 12 inches length, has a wingspan of 10 inches and a height of 8 inches and is attached to a nice stand that looks to be chrome with a wood base. Displays very well! Has the letters G-BIKM on each as well as DHL on two places on each side. This is a Replica of DHL airplane, in the yellow color with red lettering and stripes and underside, and in very nice condition. Distributed by DieUKW.
