Advertising - Chalk Bulldog - Mack Truck Bank
Heres a chalkware bulldog bank, advertising Mack Trucks, and that is written on the back of his studded collar. Has a coin slot in the back of his head, but no opening to retrieve coins, one would have to shake them out. He stands 7-1/2 inches in height, measures about 10 inches in length from his nose to his tail. The tips on the studded collar, as well as the name "Mack" on the collar is a reflective type of paint, and his eyes look like glass, but under magnification are a hard plastic. He has a number of paint chips, where the white plaster underneath shows through, one could touch up easily if desired. Under one paw is either a chip or a manufacturing defect, and I believe the ladder as the plaster is there, just down a bit, so not smooth. Still he is very cute! Colors are browns topped by black for an antiqued effect.
