Book - The ABBE Constantin by Ludovic Halevy This is a 226 page undated book, published in Chicago and New York by Rand, McNally & Company. There are numerous wonderful illustrations by Madame Madeleine Lemaire. The condition is good for age, there is a name and Christmas 1903 on inside cover page. One page has partly separated from the binding, there is an attached ribbon to use for a book mark, the pages are of heavy weight paper. The book measures 7 ¾ inches by 5 ½ inches by 1 inch, has a red cover, with gold lettering.

1935 Hearth & Home Songs – Little Jimmie’s A paper back song book, printed in 1934 by Asher Sizemore in Louisville Ky., full of Mountain Ballads, Old Hymns, Childrens, and Cowboy songs, as well as information and pictures of the Sizemore family and "Little Jimmie" the radio child star of the 1930’s, with his father Asher. Originally contained 52 songs, and two pages are now missing, and the original selling price was 25 cents. Some pages are loose, but could probably be re-bound, if desired. Nice old piece of Kentucky, Appalachian history of music. Which was broadcast around the world during this time via radio.

There is a notice on the inside front cover page saying this book to be offered for sale only through authorized agents, and listing terms and price and dates to start selling. Also is offered a facsimile page of manuscript from Daniel Sweetland. 320 pages measuring 7 ½ inches by 5 inches by 1 ½ thick. Good condition other than a tear to the cover on the bottom spine, of about ¼ inch. A very faded name written in pencil in inside cover page.
