14 pc. Blue Celluloid Dresser Set with Clock & Tray – Pyramid
Here’s a great blue pearle-scence vanity set marked " Pyramid" circa: 1925. Set includes:
(1) lace lined tray, in excellent condition: 11 inches by 7 ¾ inches, 7/8 inches height
(2) clock marked made in U.S.A.: 6 ¾ length, 2 inches width, 3 ¾ inches height
(3) lid to a glass bottle: 1 ¾ inches by 2 inches
(4) a hair receiver: 5 inches by 5 inches, by 2 inches height
(5) powder Box with lid: 5 inches by 5 inches by 2 inches height.
(6) hinged trinket box: 6 inches length, 3 inches width, 1 ½ inches height
(7) hairbrush: 9 ½ inches lenght
(8) button hook: 7 inches length
(9) shoe horn: 6 ½ inches length
(10-13) 4 manicure pieces: 5 inches – 8 inches lengths
(14) Small container with lid: 3 ½ by 3 ½ and 1 inch height
Complete set except the hand mirror. Rare to find so many pieces, still together after 80 years, and in such good condition. Several of the larger pieces have the mark: Pyramid. Nice condition, with a very few age marks, and or stains. Just a wonderful, unique old set- in a beautiful color combination!

Celluloid Tortoise Shell Folding Shaving Mirror
This is a celluloid folding shaving mirror, made in a tortoise shell pattern. This vintage mirror folds for storage to 2 ¼" tall. When opened for use it is 5 ½" across by 8 ½" deep by 7" tall. It comes with the original milk glass bowl, which is in perfect condition. The celluloid is free from cracks, just some minor scratches and wear to the bottom and very slight roughness to the edges from use. The mirror is in good condition, with no breaks but there is a half arch marked on the surface, from being closed all these years and resting on the bowl. The hinges have a little surface rust on them, but they all work very well. A very nice example of a vintage mirror.

Celluloid Folding Shaving Mirror
This is a folding, patterned, silver celluloid shaving mirror. This vintage mirror folds for storage to 2 ¼" tall. When opened for use it is 5" across by 8" deep by 7" tall. It comes with the original milk glass bowl, which is in perfect condition. The celluloid is free from cracks or chips and is in very good condition. The mirror has a few slight scratches, but it is a bit "fogged" from age. One of the hinges has a little surface rust on it, but both work very well. There is a clip in front of the bowl for the shaving brush, but it is missing. A very nice example of a vintage mirror.

Vintage Celluloid Needle Case –Victorian Sewing Case
This pretty case would date to early 1900’s - 1915. Celluloid was invented in 1870 and was mostly used as a replacement to ivory. In 1910 Bakelite was discovered and then was more widely used in the 1920’s. Later plastics become the more economical replacement for both. Celluloid burned easily and not a lot of that survived.
This case has some pinholes but other than that is in very nice condition for its age. Size: 3-3/4 inches length and 1 inch width. Lid fits nice and snug, as intended. It has one stick- pin inside, and the tip of one is sticking into its side. The original owner apparently also used it as a pincushion. In early times quilting bees were a way for women to gather and socialize, and they often would carry these little sewing kits along to hold their needles.

French Ivory – Button Hook - Large
This vintage button hook is 7 ¾ inches in length; 4 inches of that is a handle signed "French Ivory" and the rest a metal hook that needs polished, there are some pits and rust to the metal. Also has a black stain on the back of the ivory, as shown in photo’s. Handle has a nice feel of old / smooth patina that has been well loved and used over the years.

This vintage button hook is 6 ¼ inches in length and very nice with only minor wear to the metal finish, detectible only under magifinication. Handle has a nice feel of old / smooth patina that has been well loved and used over the years, with one area having a small split as shown in photo.

This vintage nail file is 7 ½ inches in length, and there is a pattern design to the handle of interesting angles that are very pleasing, and also has the maker marks signed into the handle material which probably says "French Ivory" that is mostly worn off over the many years.

Probably was a part of a vintage dresser or manicure set, these sissors are small, measuring 3 ¾ inches in total length and 1 ¾ inches width across the handles, which are of French Ivory. Handles have a angle pattern to the French Ivory.
