Syroco Bookend / Pioneers, Oxen, Wagon
Single bookend, depicting a team of oxen being driven and pulling a Conestoga type covered wagon, much like the pioneers used when heading west. Has great detail, material I believe to be Syroco; a molded pressed wood. Unmarked, was possibly made by Syroco Wood Co, Syracuse, N.Y. They often used paper labels. Condition: End chips here and there; some may be manufacturing flaws as the color is the same/ consistant. Horse & rider to the side, the ox team, driver to the side, and a man, woman, and child are riding in the front of the wagon, again, shows great detail.

Vintage - Replogle - Moon Globe- Meredith Corporation
A tin Moon globe by Replogle; a globe of the lunar landscape and moon landings. Globe is not dated, but various landings include: Lunik 2 1959, Ranger 4 1962, Apollo 11 1969. I see nothing more recent, making this an older model globe.
Globe is signed: Replogle / MOON Globe / Meredith Corporation / Diameter 6 Inches / 1 inch = 360 statute miles / Made In U.S.A. / LeRoy M. Tolman, Cartographer
Condition: numerous age/use dents to the tin, staining where it rested on the plastic base, Ive not tried to clean. Plastic base has a loose leg, could be glued if desired, but still works fine. Unique item!

Ohio Art Globe Zodiac Base
This globe was made by the Ohio Art Co. of Bryan Ohio. I dont see any dates as to when it was made. It sits on a tin base with signs of the Zodiac around the base, and the base measures 6-1/2 inches across. The holder is plastic and the bottom tip is off, and I believe it is inside the globe; it rests fine on the base without that tip. There is also a dent in the S. Atlantic Ocean. All in all Id say this was in pretty good shape for its age, resting on the base it stands approximately 11-1/2 inches height, graphics are good. Has Congo (changed 1971) has Omon (1970) Has French West Africa (changed early 1960s) - Germany is not divided (1949) The girth at equator is 29 inches around.
