TE1032

Pitcher – Sheep & Shepherd Girls A sweet pitcher featuring a front picture of a background of sheep with two shepherd girls to tend them in the foreground. One girl is standing; holding grass or hay, and the other girl is seated and holding a staff. Pitcher is not marked, though looks to be German. Bottom has bluish coloring and top is white and both have nice gold trim highlights. There is a chip on the back rim, but still displays nicely. Also has a minor bottom chip, probably done during manufacturing, as the paint is over this spot. Other very minor paint loss and rubs. SIZE: 6 inches height, 3-1/4 inch base, 5-3/4 inches from spout to end of handle. Gold trim on top is very nice. It’s generally the first to fade on pieces like this.
