Pair of Staffordshire Dalmatian Quill Holders, Matched Set
This design for the matched set of Dalmatian quill holders was created in the 1860’s, however I believe these were produced in the twentieth century, possibly from a nineteenth century mold. They measure 4 7/8" across by 3 ½" tall and are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. They do have some crazing, but the crazed look shown in the photos is painted or stenciled on.

Large Joan Of Arc Double Figural Inkwell
This large inkstand depicts Joan Of Arc on a rearing horse. The two inkwells have hinged lids with finials that don’t quite match, and a tray for pens is across the front. It stands on five scroll feet. This was made in France c.1900 and is signed "A Bosso". This inkwell is made of cast white metal with a bronze patina. One of the inkwells has its glass insert, in very good condition, while the other is missing. Joan is missing the flag and staff from her right hand and the reins from the horse are also not there. The horse has a real tale and the entire inkstand is finely detailed. It measures 12" across by 8" deep and 10" to the top of Joan’s arm.

Vintage Mother of Pearl Dip Pen with Case
This is a vintage dip pen with a mother of pearl handle and a gold nib marked "A Norton & Son, New York, No. 1". The handle is carved in soft little bumps, these make it easy to hold and catch the light beautifully. There is no maker’s mark on the pen itself. It measures 6" long to the end of the nib. It comes in the original case, which has a worn, greenish, outside covering and a pink and white inside lining, which is in good condition, other than the ribbon loop has been torn.
