Slicer Attachment for Sunbeam Mixmaster – 1934 A vintage Shredder/Slicer attachment for the Sunbeam Mixmaster. It comes with a slicer blade that turns your vintage mixmaster into a shredder or slicer. I only have the slicer blade not the shredder blade for this attatchment. The piece is nicely signed: Sunbeam Pats 1975949 – 2001793 on the lift up door. Those patent numbers gives the patent date as Oct. 9, 1934 and the inventor of this kitchen appliance was Ivar Jeppson of Chicago, ILL. The later patent number was for safety devices to make it safer for home use.
