The Edgar Nutmeg Grater This is a very old, handheld nutmeg grater. It has a spring-loaded cylinder at the top that keeps pressure on as you slide it back and forth over the grater. Wooden knob to wooden knob is 5" and the metal slide is 5 1/8" long. On the cylinder is "The Edgar" and Nov.10-1896. In very good shape and works fine!

Top has "arm" on each side – directions instruct one - glass tumblers / arms on top and lift up – all other jars arms under cover and push down – Coffee jars lift up! Has a bottle opener on other side as well.

Kitchen Collectible –Nut Chopper - Grinder – Red Lid Glass has nice decorations on sides plus the bottom. Has no maker marks, would date probably to the 1940’s, this three piece nut chopper / grinder, has a tin lid and turns with a key shaped handle to operate. Size 6 inches height, base 2-3/4 inches and has a 2 inch lid and the red caps fits over the lid.

Vintage Kitchen Collectibles - Quam – Nichols Co. Chicago, IL. – Kwicky Juicer This is an aluminum juice maker by the Quam-Nichols Co., Of Chicago, IL with Pat. No. 141788 also included in the writing on the bottom. The handle is signed " Kwicky Juicer". This one is unique, due to the construction; this turns on a rubber base, rather that you turn the fruit. Cool vintage kitchen item! 9-1/2 inches length, 5-1/2 inches width, 2 inches depth at rim. The Patent number dates to 1922.

Federal House-Wares – Food Chopper – 1960’s Never used, still has original paperwork inside; Made by Federal House-Wares / division of Nibot Corporation / Chicago, Illinois 60645. This is a two cup size chopper for onions, potatoes, carrots, celery, apples per the label. Is also marked on bottom in raised letters: FEDERAL HOUSEWARES– CHICAGO 45 – ILLINOIS. Having a zip code on the paper label, but not on bottom, would date this to the early 1960’s. To operate one pushes on the top, it has spring action, stainless steel blades, the jar is glass the lid is green plastic and the push rod is stainless steel with a white plastic handle. The inside paper has just the price removed and the rest is in nice condition. Was most likely given as a gift, and never used. Nice retro item!

Kitchen Collectible – Mouli Grater – Made In France- Wood Handle Here’s a nicely marked Mouli Grater, with a patent date on one side and Mouli Grater - Made in France - written on the front. Has a red wood handle that turns to operate. Nice older kitchen collectible, the US patent date is: 2271175 & other Pats. Pending is written on one side, and A Mouli product is written on the other side. When opened the length is 14-1/2 inches; and folded it measure 7-1/2 inches. Has a bit of rust, so needs cleaning.
This grater was patented January 27, 1942 by Jean Mantelet and called a portable rotary grater.

This combination candy-deep frying thermometer is still in its package, thou it’s been cut in half, perhaps originally held two. Glass covered thermometer measures 9-inches, has a red tip and a red handle. Some directions are on rear, but again, its been cut in half.

Kitchen Collectibles – Vintage Wire Jar Lifter / Wood Handle- Primitive A clever, unusual piece to use to lift a hot jar, perhaps to use with canning and lifting out jars from the boiling water. Two pieces of bended wire and it has a wood bail handle with a pull ring in the center. When you pull the ends are released, and when you push it down, it tightens and locks around the jar top. Nice old primitive piece!

Slicer Attachment for Sunbeam Mixmaster – 1934 A vintage Shredder/Slicer attachment for the Sunbeam Mixmaster. It comes with a slicer blade that turns your vintage mixmaster into a shredder or slicer. I only have the slicer blade not the shredder blade for this attatchment. The piece is nicely signed: Sunbeam Pats 1975949 – 2001793 on the lift up door. Those patent numbers gives the patent date as Oct. 9, 1934 and the inventor of this kitchen appliance was Ivar Jeppson of Chicago, ILL. The later patent number was for safety devices to make it safer for home use.
