Bailey Walker – Vitrified China – 1941- Bedford, Ohio A saucer made by the Bailey-Walker Company of Bedford Ohio and dated 1941. This was the last year this back-stamp mark was used, and by 1942 the company had changed their name to Walker China. The saucer measures 6 inches across and has written on the back: K – The Bailey Walker – Vitrified China – Bedford, Ohio – 1941. The base measures 4-1/4 inches and the height is 1 inch at the rim.
This company made heavy-duty ware for use as restaurant, hotel, club, and church ware, made to last with heavy use. This company also produced Chinaware for steamships, as well as commemorative plates, and specialty items.
Has age and use marks, as expected, no chips or cracks.

Restaurant Ware - Buffalo China - Grapefruit Bowl – Rim Decoration Buffalo China bowl with a decorated edge, rather like an abstract Greek Key design in black and gold, sorry I do not know the correct pattern name. Size: 6-1/2 inches from outside edge of rim across top, 3-inch base and 1-3/4 inches height. Condition: no damage, shows very minor use wear, has a nice shine, decals are complete.

Jackson Vitrified China – Small Oval Bowl / Soap Dish Signed on bottom: Jackson Vitrified China, Falls Creek, Pa. This small oval bowl measures 5-1/8 inches length, 4 inches width, 1 inch height. Has a black rim stripe and a gold stripe midway.
Jackson China made restaurant ware / is the perfect size to use as an oval soap dish.

Syracuse China – Restaurant Ware – Econo- Rim/ Red Line – Divided Plate, 1940 A Syracuse China Econo-Rim 5-U Restaurant Ware 5 Section plate with a red line design, marked on the back with the Syracuse China Econo-Rim logo 5-U / (Date code for May 1940) and patented. The plate is in very nice condition for its age; no chips, cracks, or utensil marks but has a number of manufacturing flaws, of extra globs of china under the glaze. It measures about 9 1/2" in diameter and the color is white with a single red band of color below the scalloped rim.

Co. – Plate Made by Mayer China Company, Beaver Falls, Pa for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, this small plate measures 7-1/8 inches across, with a rim decoration and an oval area that has the Met Life Logo inserted. Plate is backstamped: Mayer China – Beaver Falls, Pa – Made Expressly For - Metropolitan Life Ins. Co. – Furnished By – Maddock & Miller, Inc. – New York City
Condition: no chips or cracks, just the normal manufacturing defects, one on the front under the glaze.

Jackson China – Paul Mc Cobb, Designer – Bowl – 1965 A Jackson China bowl with a contemporary design around the top edge, bottom signed: Jackson China – Falls Creek, Pa. – designed by Paul Mc Cobb – 010
I believe that number dates to 1965, bowl has a nice shape; the edge design is a gold color. Condition: minor use scratches, and the bottom rim, has a small chip or frit.
Size: 2 inches height, 5-1/4 inches across top rim, 3 inch base.

Restaurant Ware – Victor Mug – Green Striped Good quality restaurant ware, made by Victor Insulator Co., Victor New York. These heavy mugs were thought to be superior at keeping that coffee hotter, longer due to the special hand crafted quality that went into the construction of this porcelain mug. Has "Victor" impressed on the bottom and there are dark green stripes at the rim and on the handle to decorate. Size: 3-5/8 inches height, 3-1/4 inches across the rim, with a 3-inch base.

Restaurant Ware – Souvenir – White Gull Inn – Syracuse China – Lot of 2 A lot of two pieces of Syracuse China / restaurant ware / consisting of a cup and a bread and butter size plate. Both are decorated in a pink floral and have a house and The White Gull Inn is written on each piece. Size: plate is 5-1/2 inches and the cup is 3 inches height, 3-1/4 inches across the rim, and it has a 2-inch base. Both are in excellent condition and both are signed on the bottom in green: Syracuse China, U.S.A.
Comments: The White Gull Inn is a bed and breakfast, located in Door County Wisconsin, established in 1896, in the village of Fish Creek.

Top has written: Raper Commandery No1 K.T. in a banner under what I believe to be a Freemason’s symbol. Researching I believe this to be from Indianapolis, IN.
Condition: no chips or cracks, but the black paint rim decoration is imperfect (a manufacturing defect).

Sterling China - Restaurant Ware - Nino's Platter – Steer Border Design Vintage advertising; Sterling China- Restaurant Ware Platter. Platter is in nice shape with no chips or cracks, and measures 9-3/4 inches length by 7-3/8 inches width and has advertising from Nino's Steak Round-Up Restaurant. This platter has 19 horned steer / cows along the edges and is back-stamped: Sterling – Vitrified China – East Liverpool – Ohio – U.S.A. – M-4. Has some manufacturing defects of extra paint in places on rim and one speck in platter.

Measure 5-1/4 inches and are in nice condition, with very minor manufacturing defects. This brand was used as restaurant ware; due to being terribly durable. These plates resemble ironstone.

Grindley – Staffordshire, England – Vitrified China Saucer/ Restaurant Ware A 5-1/2 inch banded saucer backstamped: White Granite Vitrified – Grindley – W. H. Grindley & CO., LTD. – Staffordshire England – 2-7.
Is decorated with bands of color, a thick band of maroon and two narrow bands of green. Has no chips or cracks, but does show use /wear scratches.
