Manufacturer: L. E. Smith
Art Deco shaped glass powder jar, the inside is coated a peach color, which gives the outside its color. Sitting on top in clear glass is a Minstrel playing a mandolin with his legs crossed. Nice design in the glass, probably from the 1930’s. Size: 5 ¼ inches height, 3 ¼ inches opening at rim, 3 ¼ inches across the base. Condition: inside paint is chipped in places, especially the top rim where the lid has rubbed when being removed for 70+ years. Tiny, tiny chip on end of mandolin in rear. A very nice memento from the Art Deco Era. |
