Here is a wonderful antique Victorian oil lamp bracket, Eastlake style. This has a large bracket, which extends approximately 12" from the wall; the holding plate is 5 inches across. It comes with a mounting plate, it has been repainted at some point, and so has a layer of aged white paint. The bracket is marked: VMC, most likely the foundry that produced these old cast iron items, though I have not been able to research them yet. |
