This vintage planter/ Lombardi shaped bowl was made by the Cookson Pottery Company of Roseville, Ohio., around 1945- 1950’s. The bottom has an under glaze mark; CP-92 USA and has 4 beautiful scrolled feet and embossed motif on the front and back. It appears to be in average/used condition/ no damage but normal manufacturing imperfections.It measures about 10"l X 5 ¾"w X 5" h and is about 4 ¼" deep.This would also be a lovely planter for displaying floral arrangements. Cookson Pottery was often sold to florist for this purpose. |
