Interesting serving or sandwich tray, size 9-1/2 inches by 5-1/2 inches and backstamped in green ink: with the Union Jack Flag with the word " Durability" inside flag, and below that has Weatherby – Hanley – England – Royal – Falcon Ware – 8165 and also has "England" impressed in the porcelain. Top pattern has a rough finish rather like a golf ball surface, with floral decorations at each end and a worn gold strip around the rim. The top finish is a shiny lusterware, and there are a few dark spots under the glaze, no chips or cracks, just again, wear to the gold trim. |
