Marked on top in the metal: Made In United States of America A & J. Size: 7-1/2 inches length, with a four- inch wing blade. Condition:USED, vintage; blades need polishing if desired, the green on wood handle has faded a bit from age and use. Made by: A & J Manufacturing Company of Binghamton, New York. That company was started in 1909 and then was sold to the Edward Katzinger Company in 1929.
Can be used to sift dry ingredients or to beat or mash fruits and vegetables when used with a strainer.
