Manufacturer: Elmwood Pen Co.
This, late 1800’s, dip pen has a carved mother of pearl handle with red dots inlaid. It has an embossed shaft with a gold nib marked "Elmwood Pen Co. 2". There is no makers mark on the pen itself. It measures 6 ¼" long to the end of the nib. It comes in the original case, which has a worn, red outside covering and red velvet inside lining, which is in good condition, other than the ribbon loop has been torn. The catch is a little out of adjustment and does not latch securely. The pen and nib are in good condition with only the nib being slightly bent and a little wear to the mother of pearl and inlaid dots.
