Here’s a nicely marked: Mouli Grater, with a patent dates on each side and Mouli Grater - Made in U.S.A. written on the front. Has a yellow plastic handle which turns to operate, that is marked made in France; the US patent date is: 2,271,175 & 2,502,867. Other Pats. Pending is written on one side, below patents: 2,604,916 – 2,587,186. When opened the length is 14-1/2 inches; and folded it measure 7-1/2 inches. The handle can be changed for either right handed or left handed use. This grater was patented January 27, 1942 by Jean Mantelet and was called a portable rotary grater. Condition: used, good, in nearly new condition, box shows shelf wear. For grating cheese, garlic, cocoanut, chocolate, nutmeg, ice, hard boiled eggs, carrots, potatoes, nuts & more.
