MN Lathing & Plastering Bureau Plaster Wall Plaque
Featured for your enjoyment is a very old plaster wall plaque but out by the Minnesota Lathing & Plastering Public Relations Bureau. A call to the bureau places this plaque in the early to mid 1950’s. Their slogan at the time was A RAP ON THE WALL TELLS ALL. It is made of plaster and not painted at all. It is in near mint condition. This is a neat old advertising piece. Measures 7" across.

Pair Chalkware Oriental Figural Lamps
This is a lovely old pair of lamps made of chalkware. It is an oriental man and woman. The woman is holding a budda to her breast. She has a small chip on the top of he black base as well and a ding on the base. The man has a small sword on his waste and two fingers across his breast. Under close examination you can see he has been broken from his base and reglued to it. This left a couple of shallow chips on his left side on the feet. Also a small chip to the arm of his shirt as well as one in the back. Lovely set. They stand 12" tall. Perfect on a night stand.

It is a pair of monkeys with a big bass drum and a triangle. Bright, adorable print. There is a crease running mostly up the larger monkey. It measures 9" long by 4" wide. It is complete and in great condition. The top cover does have a tear starting next to the metal top binder. Wonderful pictures and receipts on each page. Two months to a page. Round Kist Mirror Did You Get KIST Today This is a very rare item. I have only seen one other. It is an advertising mirror from 1962 for Kist beverages. This one reads: "Did you get KIST today!". It is in wonderful condition. The enameling is crisp and clear with no scratches. There is some minor wear to the slivering on the bottom and some spots on the side. It has the original backing with the makers information and date. Made by Donald C. Smith, Advertising Signs & Specialties, 7001 North Clark Street, Chicago 26 Illinois.
