It is rare to find a single pansy ring much less a matched set of 4. We have the larger center ring and 3 matching smaller rings. Embossed scroll and wing decoration positioned just over the 3 stubby feet on each ring. It is marked with an ink stamp Made in Austria as well as an incised 3577 on one foot. The smaller rings are tiny duplicates of the larger ring. One smaller ring was used as a candle holder for some reason which has caused crazing and darkening. Luckily this misuse did not break it. The larger one does have one stress hairline, short, and common on round pottery of that time. This is a stunning set to find! Made between 1900-1918. I am so glad to see it stayed together for over 100 years.The large one is 2 1/8" tall by 7 3/8" wide. The 3 smaller ones are 1 3/8" tall by 3 1/4" wide.
