Rare, Quintuplets Doll and Sewing set with the box marked American Toy Works of New York, made in U.S.A. Guessed to be from the mid 1940's. It is an ATWO product made to represent the Dionne Quints and it has 4 of the 5 original, Bisque toddler dolls that are 5 1/2 inches tall with jointed arms and made for the set in Japan. They have adorable, molded hair with wonderful side-glance eyes and lovely colored faces. The set has many of the original outfits to make as well as the ones made that are on the dolls. There are still more unused, plus the children's scissors and the original needle package. One of the five dolls is missing and one has her jointed arms off but in the box. The other three are wonderful. The box is great with wonderful front graphics but the sides are starting to come apart. This is a wonderful rare set with so many of the original pieces. The box is 2 1/2 inches high, 20 inches long and 12 1/4 inches wide as found.This will have to be repacked into a larger box for protection and will have to be shipped via dimensional weight to your zip code. The new box will be at least 5 pounds and the box will be 18 /12 inches long, 25 inches wide and 7 inches high.
