1950's Ricky Jacket - Rockabilly
This "Ricky" jacket has made the club rounds in Los Angeles (Viper Room, Troubadour, Roxy, etc.) worn by a band member, the previous owner.
A rockabilly style jacket that is black gabardine, with off-white piping/trim on the front carrying around to the back. It has the original white pearl diamond shaped snaps on the front and the cuffs.
The condition is very good, especially considering its age and use. There is some very gently worn, light wear at the cuffs and wait band area. There are no visible stains and only one small material snag/tear on the left sleeve. It is not an apparent mark that detracts from the jacket overall. The lining is also in good shape.
It is not marked in sizing, but appears to be a large. It measures approximately: 24" from shoulder seam to cuff - 23" from neck/shoulder to waist band - 40" around the waist band.
A jacket for the true 50's collector...and due to "Two and A Half Men's" Charlie Sheen...this style seems to be very popular right now.
