Funny Smoking Penny Postcards
"Looking For A Match" is copyright by Backus, was mailed with a one penny stamp, does show edge wear and one corner crease. The "Quiet Smoke At Last" is a 1905 copyright by the Ullman Mfg. Co., signed by the artist and was never mailed.

Puppy Dog Postcard & One Extra
A Free Lance Photographer took the pup in the basket and was printed by Dexter Press of New York.
We put in a penny postage card also, though the edge shows damage. The art work section is fine for a mini frame. Just a thought and two for the price of one.

Embossed Postcard 100 Years Old
Two of the three are printed in Germany, but all remind us of a thoughtful and artistic time. A penny stamp was a lot of money in 1905 and 1908, so these were cherished for these 100 years.

Two Angelic beings with gilded wings and gowns are singing the Easter story. This 1909 postmarked card is in very good condition for it's 98 years of age, showing slight corner wear. The rich color is printed and embossed in Germany.

Post Card "Collector's Dream Album
A pictorial view of the world exactly 100 years ago, as collected by Harry Springer of Denver, Colorado. 166 cards show steam ships, fire wagons, bucking bronco cowboys,saloons,trains, horseless carriage, and even the SS. Lusitana entering the NY harbor. A rare postcard in morse code, bridges and artist signed, will be found in this amazing group so well preserved all these many years in storage. Only the cover is in poor condition.

Patriotic Post Cards
American Flag postcards are true collectibles. The 48 star flag was marked "Free" postage for war time use, from a Private in an Artillery Division. The Eagle and Flag card is embossed, unused and requires a 1 cent stamp to mail. Copyright 1906. Note the newly planted landscape around the
White House. Fine condition with just slight corner wear.

Sacred Crosses On Four Easter Post Cards
Two are embossed and all four have beautiful art work. I tried to show the foil background on the yellow flowered cross, but the photo work leaves much to be desired. Two were mailed and none are without some small flaw.
