Shabby Chic Handmade Appliqued Tulip Block Scalloped Quilt
ASK ABOUT FREE LAY-A-WAY PLAN! This is a beautiful, all cotton, hand-made quilt in soft pastel shades of pink, rose, blues, and greens on a white background and it has a solid white reversible backing. I love the Shabby Chic look! There are 25 11" X 12" blocks. It is in very excellent condition with no stains, rips or tears. There are 2 pillow shams to match. The intricate needle work, 5 stitches psi, and overall quality is exceptional. The applique tulips are done with a blind-stitch. It is not an antique but is very vintage. This is a huge quilt and will cover the top of a king size bed. One photo shows the quilt on my queen size bed with shams; One photo shows the scalloped edge which is on all four sides; one photo shows close up of applique block. The backing is white cotton with a diamond pattern stitching covering entire quilt. I can't find any machine stitching. The quilt top and muslin backing cover a very thin fiber batting that I can see in the seams of the shams. The shams will cover 19" X 25" pillows. The quilt can be used with bed skirt on full bed and queen bed, or be used alone on a twin. One sham has a damaged zipper and the handstitched seams need to be reinforced at the zipper ends. Shabby Basket w/Open Filigree Wrought Iron Handle
I love this vintage basket! I have never seen old solid wrought iron handles like these and basket is in excellent condition with no damage. The iron handle gives the basket some extra weight, nice for floral arrangements, fruit or other uses. It measures 13" top of handle and is 9" wide and 6" deep. It is lightly white washed on the outside and handle is shabby cream or ivory enameled. The price quoted is for basket only. I have the "Hong Kong" fruit listed separately. Shabby White Crackle Ceramic Carousel Horse
He is a 14" high hugely chic carousel horse with a nicely applied white crackle glaze and dark mauve crackle saddle. He is a heavy hollow ceramic and has no chips or crackles. I found him with the goldtone rod so you can have it to, if you want it. This shabby rose floral design material has been packed away for years. I meant to recover the cushion in small wicker vanity chair. It's a wonderful shabby chic fabric and it is 1 1/2 yards by 32 1/2" wide, not cut on exact line at one edge. Priced accordingly.
