This adorable & rare Mockie Steiff hippo is named "Moxie" and comes with the Steiff ear button and original Evaluation Certificate signed by Ken Yenke, author of "Teddy Bear Treasure". This is a very special vintage 1970's Steiff animal that was made expressly as a toy store display, not made to be played with. It is a large size, measuring 26" long from tip of tail to nose, 11" tall at back legs and 25" around the stomach.
His EAR BUTTON is the smaller sized silver cursive "Steiff" which was used in the late 60's/70's but the yellow ear tag is missing. He has air brushing on his face and feet to add detail.
