These new condition, never worn, excellent quality, still in plastic pouch, huge 2 1/2" wide X 2 1/4" long, lilac tinted lens sunglasses have the original hard plastic tag which reads "Hilex Eye Elegance, $8.00, Impact Resistant Lens, Englewood, N.J. 07631". The Hudson Universal, Ltd. company filed for the Hilex trademark specfically for sunglasses on 3-11-65 and it expired on 12-16-86. The width of the frame is 5" from ear piece to ear piece.
