This unusual top quality new condition nautical-look goldtone clock with roman numeral dial swivels inside the solid mahogany box and the face is marked "AM, Makers to the Admiralty, Mermaid Trademark, Amsterdam-London-Paris, Case India, Movement China". It is battery operated, has an alarm, and on the back of the goldtone case there is etched in metal a name written in script but I can't read it, part of it is covered. It weighs 3.25 lbs. and measures 5" tall X 5 1/4" deep X 5 1/2" wide. There is an oval metal plaque on the back which reads "American Book Company" with the American flag.
