This is a rare Hollywood style boudoir robe from the 30s-40s. (Great costume from the period!) Satin--inside and out. Deep pockets for kleenex when watching the favorite tear-jerker. Inside tie to make it snug. Rose and loop closure just for style. And of course it is by Barbizon. They knew what's what when it comes to leisure.

This robe is in very good condition. It has been loved, but it's clean; has some mending (expertly done) at the back of the neck. A small faded spot (see photo) on the front skirt, some wear on the closure loop, no tears or odors. But lots of vintage luxury! Inside tie is intact, belt present, as is the Barbizon tag.
