Circa: 1958-1960 Condition: Very Good/Wearable Size: M Type: Day Dress-Party-Cocktail Dress Manufacturer: Suzy Perette This is a high fashion 50s Suzy Perette party or cocktail dress. Sleeveless, with princess seams, button-up front, the dress is waisted with a large high collar and full paneled skirt. Made of faille adhered to a stiffener (as was often done for wedding and formal wear), the dress and collar stand out on their own.

This dress was made from 1958-1960. With the dress is a black velvet belt (not original) with a rhinestone slip buckle. I don't know if there was an original belt.
The color of this dress is dark black. I have had to lighten the photos to see detail.
Measurements: Bust:37-38" Waist:30" Hips: Full Waist to Hem: 30" The dress is in very good condition. The one issue, and the reason for the reduced price for this designer's dress, is a mend in the back (and mostly covered by the collar). There is a photo of the mend. Also there is a black velvet belt with rhinestone slip buckle, but I do not believe it to be original with the dress. Other than that, I would rate it excellent.
This is an amazing dress and makes a great entrance into a room and looks spectacular on stage!
